Outlier Finder is a free YouTube research Chrome extension that scores every video by comparing its views to the channel's rolling median, highlighting the topics, thumbnails, and titles that broke through. Scores load automatically on the YouTube homepage, channel pages, and search results. No API key, no account, no setup. HOW IT WORKS The extension calculates an outlier score for each YouTube video: a 5x means the video earned 5 times the channel's typical views for that time period. Scores use a backward-looking rolling median so they stay accurate even for channels that have grown significantly. A 2x from two years ago reflects what was actually above average back then, not today. This is what separates a real YouTube analytics extension from raw view counts.
