Are your subtitles ahead of or behind the dialogue? Want to watch Netflix with two subtitle languages while learning? OTTSub lets you adjust subtitle timing and display two subtitle tracks available for the title you are watching. Choose languages and appearance settings in a side panel alongside the video. KEY FEATURES 1. Independent subtitle timing • Shift primary and secondary subtitles earlier or later independently. • Adjust timing in 0.1-second steps using the panel controls or keyboard shortcuts. • Reset each language to 0.0 seconds whenever needed. 2. Two languages at once • Choose primary and secondary languages from the available subtitle tracks. • Use automatic selection or choose the primary language manually. • Both languages appear together, with placement adapting to the original subtitle position where applicable. • Available languages depend on the title and your Netflix account. OTTSub does not generate translations. 3. Appearance and positioning • Independent size controls: 60–140% for primary subtitles and 60–120% for secondary subtitles. • Four colors: white, yellow, mint, and green. • An optional semi-transparent black background for each language. • Line-spacing steps from 0 to 6 and vertical adjustments from −50 to +50 pixels. • Drag subtitles and lock their position to suit your preferences. 4. Language-learning tools • Blur or hide one or both languages, then reveal the text on hover. • Enable video pause when hovering over subtitles. 5. Ads and playback changes • OTTSub hides its subtitles during detected ads. • After an ad or a seek, it checks the playback time before resuming its subtitles. • During this check, Netflix's original subtitles may temporarily appear in the language selected in Netflix. It retrieves subtitle tracks from Netflix services and processes them in your browser. Preferences are saved through Chrome storage and may sync through Chrome Sync. Netflix access is required.
