Take back control of your online experience. Aegis (by OSIS) is a privacy-first browser extension that helps you stay safe, block unwanted tracking, and understand who’s watching you online. Instead of giving away your data for free, you stay in control — and if you choose, you can share anonymized data on your own terms for rewards. Note about permissions: All filtering, ad & tracker blocking happens locally on your device. No browsing data is ever sent to OSIS, a server, or third party. Chrome will prompt that Aegis can “read and change data on all websites.” Which is required so the extension can block trackers and ads on any platform you want. What Aegis Does: • Block trackers & ads – Stops hidden trackers, intrusive cookies, and unnecessary scripts. • Show you what’s happening – See which ads, trackers, and scripts tried to access your data. • Keep your data safe – All processing happens locally on your device; nothing is sent to OSIS servers. • Optional rewards – If you choose, you can share anonymized insights and earn rewards. This feature is always off by default and requires your explicit opt-in. Why Aegis? Most of today’s internet is fueled by surveillance advertising — companies track you everywhere, sell your data, and raise costs in the process.
