OSHA Yellow Book Builder
Overview
Generate a custom OSHA 29 CFR 1910 Yellow Book PDF — pick your subparts, build your reference
The OSHA Yellow Book Builder generates a custom OSHA General Industry safety reference PDF directly from the U.S. Electronic Code of Federal Regulations (ecfr.gov). Select the 29 CFR Part 1910 subparts relevant to your facility from a checklist -- or use the built-in Common Set preset that pre-selects the eight most-cited OSHA subparts -- and the extension fetches only those subparts, assembles them into a PDF, and saves it to your Downloads folder. The Yellow Book supports all Part 1910 subparts: Subpart E (Emergency Action Plans and Fire Prevention), Subpart H (Hazardous Materials), Subpart I (Personal Protective Equipment), Subpart J (General Environmental Controls), Subpart K (Medical and First Aid), Subpart L (Fire Protection), Subpart S (Electrical), Subpart Z (Toxic and Hazardous Substances), and more. The Common Set preset covers the subparts most frequently cited in OSHA general industry inspections. Every fetch retrieves live text from the official eCFR API. Add your organization or facility name and it appears on the cover page. The customizable approach means you generate only what your facility actually needs -- a 3-subpart document for a simple shop or a 15-subpart comprehensive reference for a complex manufacturing facility. Ideal for EHS managers, safety officers, compliance consultants, and HR departments responsible for OSHA compliance.
