Origin Disclosure for Amazon helps make country-of-origin disclosure visible in seconds. Open an Amazon product page, click the extension, and instantly see whether the page clearly discloses origin-related information. Results are classified into four simple states: Clear Origin Made in Japan Partial Clue Designed in USA Not Disclosed Country of origin not shown Conflicting Info Japan / Vietnam When a product clearly discloses its country of origin, you can bookmark it directly using Chrome's native bookmarks. Origin Disclosure for Amazon does not verify a product's actual manufacturing origin. It only reports whether the current Amazon product page visibly discloses origin-related information and shows supporting evidence found on the page. Privacy: The extension performs origin-disclosure classification locally in the browser. The extension does not send Amazon product titles, page text, seller information, manufacturer information, Amazon URLs, ASINs, or origin evidence for classification. Anonymous usage events may be sent to Google Analytics to help improve the extension. These events do not include Amazon URLs, ASINs, product titles, seller information, manufacturer information, page text, origin evidence, or personal information. When you click "Bookmark this product," the extension creates a native Chrome bookmark for the current Amazon product page. The extension does not read, modify, collect, analyze, export, or synchronize your existing bookmarks. Designed to make origin disclosure visible, not to verify manufacturing origin.
