OrgHue — Environment Colors for Salesforce
1 rating
)Overview
Colors each Salesforce tab's favicon by environment - red for production, green for sandboxes - so you never mix up orgs.
OrgHue removes the doubt about which Salesforce org you're working in. It colors each Salesforce tab's favicon based on its environment, so a glance at your tab strip tells you exactly where you are. Working across several orgs, it's dangerously easy to make a change in Production when you thought you were in a sandbox. OrgHue makes the difference impossible to miss. • Deep red for Production • Distinct greens and teals for Full Sandbox, Partial, UAT, Scratch, Developer, and Trial orgs • Optional on-page color banner, tab-title prefix (e.g. "P - acme"), and a colorblind letter overlay • Name individual orgs and pick custom colors from the popup PRIVATE BY DESIGN OrgHue runs only on Salesforce-owned domains (salesforce.com, salesforce-setup.com, force.com, visualforce.com, and salesforce-communities.com). Your preferences are stored locally in your browser. No servers, no tracking, no data leaves your device, and no remote code. OrgHue is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Salesforce. "Salesforce" is a trademark of Salesforce, Inc., used here only to describe compatibility. PERMISSIONS • storage — to save your display preferences and per-org colors locally • Access to Salesforce domains — to detect the environment and recolor the tab
