OrderInChat Import

Import your own store's product catalog into OrderInChat from your browser, for sites that block server imports.

OrderInChat Import moves your own online store into OrderInChat when your store's website does not let import servers in. Some shop platforms and security services (for example Cloudflare protection on IdeaSoft stores) refuse requests from servers. The regular OrderInChat website import then cannot read your catalog. This extension lets your own browser read your own store's pages instead, and hands them to the import you started in OrderInChat. Products, variants and prices, images and your store pages (about, contact, FAQ, legal pages, blog posts, category descriptions) arrive in OrderInChat exactly as the regular import would bring them. HOW IT WORKS 1. In OrderInChat, open Migrate website (or Products → Import), enter your store's address, tick "This is my own store" and press "Connect the extension". 2. Click the OrderInChat icon in Chrome's toolbar. The side panel shows the store name and the website OrderInChat wants to connect. Press Start only if this is your own store. 3. Chrome asks you once to allow access to that one website. Nothing is read before you allow it. 4. OrderInChat tells the extension which pages to read; the extension reads them from your browser at a gentle pace and sends them to your OrderInChat account. You can close the side panel — the import keeps running while Chrome is open, and its progress shows both in the side panel and in OrderInChat. BUILT TO BE RESPECTFUL OF YOUR SITE AND YOUR BROWSER • One website only: access is requested at run time for the single store website you connect (https only). The extension has no access to any other site, and Disconnect removes the site access again. • One part of a website: when the connection is limited to a path (for example your seller page on a marketplace), only pages at or below that path are read; on Trendyol and Hepsiburada seller pages also the product pages those pages link to, as OrderInChat allows. • Your store, your decision: nothing runs until you confirm the store and press Start. Later, when OrderInChat reconnects for exactly the same store account (checked by its account id, not only its name) and website (for example after Chrome restarted) and the site access is still allowed, the import continues where it left off without another Start; the side panel and a green ▶ on the toolbar icon say so. Stop or Disconnect in the extension stops at once and turns this off until your next Start (while no connection is open, "Turn off automatic continuing" in the side panel does the same); Disconnect in the extension also ends the connection on OrderInChat's side. Disconnect in the OrderInChat panel ends the connection at once, and the extension turns automatic continuing off when it next contacts OrderInChat (a running import does so within seconds; otherwise at the next reconnect, before anything runs — Start is asked again). When the session only expired (the 12-hour limit or 2 hours without activity), automatic continuing stays on for the same store account and website for up to 7 days after your Start; "Turn off automatic continuing" in the extension's side panel switches it off; it shows while no connection is open, and while a connection is open Stop or Disconnect does the same. • Gentle pace: by default 1 page per second and at most 2 at a time. You can slow it down to 1 page every 5 seconds in OrderInChat; the extension never goes faster than 2 pages per second, and it waits when your site asks it to slow down. • Never your private pages: account, login, cart, checkout, order and admin pages are never requested, and the only form request it may send is your shop's read-only variant price lookup. • No cookies by default: requests go out without your cookies. Only if your site shows a security check page can you tick "Send this site's cookies" for that one connection; the choice is cleared when you disconnect or connect again. • Short-lived connection: the one-time connection code is valid for 30 minutes and the session for at most 12 hours (it closes after 2 hours without activity, and Disconnect ends it at once). The session key is kept only in Chrome's memory, never written to disk. • Clear problems: a security check ("Just a moment…"), a refused request or an expired connection is shown in plain words with the next step. • Your language: the side panel follows your OrderInChat panel language (otherwise Chrome's) in English, Turkish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Japanese and Korean. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • It does not read your tabs, browsing history, passwords, form entries or any website other than the one you connected. • It does not inject scripts into web pages, change pages or click anything on your site. • It does not run in the background after Chrome is closed, and it never starts on its own for a store or website you have not confirmed with Start. • It does not sell, share or use any data for advertising. Pages are used only for the import you started. REQUIREMENTS • An OrderInChat merchant account (https://orderinchat.com). • Desktop Chrome 116 or newer. • You must own the store or be allowed to copy its catalog. The extension itself is free. Import processing (product extraction, images) runs in your OrderInChat account under your plan, exactly like the regular website import.
