Ordelio Keyword Highlighter: highlight multiple words
Overview
Highlight your word lists on every page, automatically on the sites you choose. No word limits, no account, pages stay untouched.
Highlight many words at once on any web page, each list in its own color. Save your lists once and they light up by themselves on the sites you choose. Free, with no word limits. Ctrl+F finds one word at a time. When you scan job ads, papers, shops or long reports for the same words every day, that gets slow. Keyword Highlighter does it for you. ★ WHAT YOU GET • Word lists in 8 colors: one for what you want ("remote", "Python"), one for what you want to avoid ("sponsored"). • How many times each word appears on the page, and a click jumps to the next one (Shift+click: the previous one). • Highlight automatically on the sites you choose: open the page and your words are already marked, no click needed. • Phrases are found even when the page splits them across links or bold text; Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai work too. • The page itself is not changed: the colors are drawn by the browser, so sites keep working as usual, even pages that load new content as you scroll. • Right-click selected text to add it to one of your lists: it lights up right away. • Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+Shift+K opens the popup, Alt+Shift+J turns the colors on the page on or off. • The number of matches on the toolbar icon. • Backup to a file or as plain text, and import it on another computer: your lists are easy to move. • Whole words only or match case, for each list. Interface in 14 languages, light and dark theme. ★ HOW IT WORKS 1. Click the extension icon (or press Alt+Shift+K) and type your words, separated by commas. 2. They light up on the page right away, with the count next to each word. 3. Tick "Highlight automatically on" to have them marked every time you open that site. ★ WHY IT ASKS FOR A SITE PERMISSION At install time the extension has no access to any website. It works on the tab you are on only when you click its icon. If you tick "Highlight automatically on" for a site, your browser asks you to allow that one site: this lets your words be marked by themselves when the page opens. You can remove a site at any time in Options, and "Highlight automatically on all sites" is used only if you choose it. ★ PRIVACY Your words stay in your browser: nothing is sent anywhere. No account, no ads, no affiliate links. Privacy policy: https://ordelio.pages.dev/privacy#evidenziatore ★ FEEDBACK Missing a feature, or found a page where it doesn't work? Tell us with the "Feedback / suggest" link in the extension: we read every message. Made by Ordelio · https://ordelio.pages.dev
