Orbit is a personal CRM that runs entirely on your machine. This extension connects it to LinkedIn — visit any profile, click the extension, and save or update the contact in your local Orbit database. What it does: • Extracts name, headline, and location from LinkedIn profiles • Searches your existing Orbit contacts to avoid duplicates • Creates new contacts or updates existing ones with one click • Logs LinkedIn profile visits as relationship interactions What makes Orbit different: • 100% local — your data never leaves your computer • No account needed, no cloud sync, no subscription • Open source • Built for people who actually care about their relationships Requirements: • Orbit must be running locally (python3 server.py on port 8080) • Free to use — the extension just connects to your local Orbit instance Privacy: This extension sends data only to localhost:8080 on your own machine.
