OranShield Web Protection

Blocks phishing, credential theft, and malicious downloads in real time using the OranShield app installed on your PC.

OranShield Web Protection is a browser companion for the OranShield Windows security app. Its only job is phishing and credential-theft protection while you browse. What it does: • Detects page navigations and asks the local OranShield Windows app (Bridge) to evaluate the site. • Shows OranShield warning or block screens when the Windows app returns a warn/block decision. • Lets you continue past a warning when OranShield issues a warn-only decision. • Keeps a secure local pairing with OranShield using a machine-local token so protection stays connected. • Periodically checks that the Bridge connection is healthy after sleep or restart. What it does not do: • It does not invent its own threat verdicts. • It does not load or run remote code. • It does not sell browsing data to third parties. • Full protection requires the OranShield Windows app installed and running. Data used for protection: • Page URLs (web history needed for phishing checks). • Limited website content/signals (for example login/form context) sent only to the local OranShield app for evaluation.
