As of Chrome 71, all users are now forced to adopt the new Material Refresh UI. The rounded tabs look okay, but there is one huge downside in this change. It's that those 'deselected tabs' became extremely hard to discriminate. We can deal with that issue with this simple and straightforward theme called "Orange frame with distinguishable gray tabs". Below is the only setting that will take effect having this theme: "colors": { "background_tab": [ 210, 213, 217 ], "background_tab_inactive": [ 213, 215, 220 ], "background_tab_incognito": [ 38, 39, 42 ], "background_tab_incognito_inactive": [ 53, 56, 58 ], "frame": [ 247, 99, 12 ] } (Inspired by Ray's "Material Soft Light".)

I like it because I can see all the tabs separately, but I do wish I could change the color of the frame, or that they made a few color options for it. Navy, Forest Green, Brown, Maroon.. for example. Even a very dark grey would be fine, so long as the tabs are light grey.
