OpusRepo

Fill logins and one-time codes from your OpusRepo vault. Nothing leaves your computer.

OpusRepo is a password manager that keeps one encrypted vault file on your own PC. This extension connects your browser to the OpusRepo desktop app so you can fill a login or a one-time code without copying it by hand. It needs the OpusRepo app for Windows, which is a separate download from opusrepo.app. Without the app, the extension does nothing. What it does 1. Fill a login: click the asterisk in a sign-in field and choose a login from your vault. 2. Fill a one-time code: click the asterisk in a code field to fill the current code. 3. Save a new login: when you sign in somewhere new, the extension can offer to save it to your vault. Nothing fills until you click. How it stays safe 1. Logins are offered only when the page's real domain matches the website saved on the item, over https. Look-alike sites get nothing. 2. The OpusRepo app decides what to release, not the web page, and your vault stays locked until you unlock it in the app. 3. Messages travel over a local connection on your PC. There is no account, no server, and no analytics. 4. You pair the extension once with a short code from the app's Settings, and you can unpair or turn the feature off at any time. OpusRepo is a beta and has not had an independent security review.
