High CPU

Thanks for your efforts with this extension - recommended by Steve Gibson (Security Now podcast/grc.com). I'm one of those awful users that keeps 40 or so tabs open. I'm noticing high CPU usage being attributed to OptMeowt, second only to my Gmail tabs.

Any thoughts or debugging steps I should take? I've temporarily disabled the extension for now.
