Opticross inspects how <img> elements actually render across common breakpoints — 375, 768, 1024, 1440, and 1920 pixels wide — and shows you exactly where responsive images are over-serving or under-serving pixels. WHAT OPTICROSS DOES: • Measures real rendered vs. natural image dimensions across multiple viewports. • Automatically generates copy-paste HTML attributes (srcset and sizes). • Calculates estimated bandwidth and payload savings per image. • Flags blur risks when images are scaled up beyond their native resolution. • Exports complete diagnostic audits into Markdown, JSON, or CSV reports. PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS: All analysis happens locally in your browser. Opticross does not send page content, images, or analysis results to any server, and does not use analytics or tracking of any kind. Opticross requests access to the pages you visit so its scanning tools are available wherever you choose to inspect images — it only reads rendered image dimensions on the page you actively scan, and nothing is transmitted or stored beyond that session.
