OpTally — Case Log Autofill
Overview
Fills the ACGME case-log form from your OpTally queue, one case at a time. You review and submit each case.
OpTally — Case Log Autofill saves surgical residents time on their required ACGME case logs. You build and review your cases in the OpTally app (voice dictation, a photo of the OR schedule, or CSV import), queue the ones you want to log, and this extension fills them into the ACGME case-entry form for you — attending, CPT codes, role, date, and details — so you confirm and submit instead of re-typing every field. HOW IT WORKS 1. In OpTally, tap "Send to ACGME". OpTally hands your queued cases to the extension and opens the ACGME case log. 2. The OpTally panel on the ACGME case-entry page loads your queue and fills each case, one at a time. (If you copied the queue instead, tap "Paste my OpTally queue".) 3. You review every field and click ACGME's own Submit — the extension never submits for you. Each case takes a few seconds. NO PATIENT IDENTIFIERS OpTally does not collect patient names, medical record numbers, or dates of birth. Each case carries a short OpTally case code, which the extension enters in ACGME's Case ID field so you can match the case later. What the extension handles is your operative log: procedure, CPT codes, date, attending, your role, and rotation. PRIVACY • The extension runs only on the ACGME case-entry pages (desktop and phone) and on optally.io, where it receives your queue from the app. • It makes zero network requests. It has no server and no account — there is nowhere for it to send anything. • Your queue goes exactly one place: into the ACGME form on your screen, which you review and submit to ACGME yourself. That's the same journey it would take if you typed every field by hand. • While you work through a queue, it is held in the extension's own private storage on your device, not the web page's, so it survives ACGME's page reloads. It is cleared when you finish the queue, when you clear it, or automatically after about 2 hours. • No accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no ads. Chrome requires extensions to declare any user data they handle, even when that data never leaves your device. OpTally handles your case log locally — that's how it types it into ACGME — which is why health information appears in this listing's data disclosure. It does not collect, transmit, or store it anywhere else. OpTally is an independent tool built by a surgery resident. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by ACGME or any other entity. It is not provided, approved or endorsed by any hospital, program or health system; whether you may use a personal tool for your work is yours to check with your institution.
