Overview
Scan files and downloads with OPSWAT File Security for Browser
OPSWAT File Security for Browser checks every file you download before it can harm your device. It sends each download to MetaDefender Cloud, or to your organization's own MetaDefender Core server, and scans it with more than 30 anti-malware engines. Our patented vulnerability detection scans it too. What it does • Scans downloads automatically. Every download is checked, and a notification tells you the result. • Scans on demand. Right-click any link and choose "Scan with OPSWAT" or "Scan and download with OPSWAT". • Detects with many engines. More than 30 anti-malware engines, plus hash reputation lookup, catch threats that a single antivirus would miss. • Removes threats with Deep CDR. Choose to download a sanitized copy of a document with active content (macros, scripts, embedded objects) stripped out. • Runs sandbox analysis. Suspicious files can be run in an isolated sandbox to detect advanced and zero-day threats. • Covers every kind of download. This includes files a web page generates itself and files returned by form submissions, not just plain links. • Keeps a scan history. Search past scans and open the full report for any file. Protect yourself from malware, ransomware and vulnerable software, one download at a time. You can also try out MetaDefender Cloud by visiting https://metadefender.com
