Salesforce Storage Monitor helps you monitor Salesforce organization storage usage and export the results to Excel. ■What you can do - Check Data Storage, File Storage, and Big Objects usage from the extension popup - See the top 5 objects by Data storage in the popup (collapsible) - Run manual checks with "Run Check Now" - Export storage results to Excel - Keep a history of when each org reaches/exceeds its threshold, and export it to Excel (per org or all orgs) - Enable periodic monitoring for saved orgs - Show or hide a compact storage badge directly on Salesforce pages - Works on both Lightning Experience and Classic - Supports English and Japanese display ■Key features The extension retrieves organization storage usage more reliably — even when no active Salesforce session remains — and is designed to match the values shown at the top of Salesforce Storage Usage pages. It never overwrites or invalidates your active Salesforce login session while reading. - Accurate units: Sub-megabyte File storage is shown in KB (instead of "0 MB"), matching the Salesforce Storage Usage page. - Popup dashboard: Shows the current org, last check time, Data / File / Big Objects values, the top 5 Data objects, threshold, monitoring interval, and notification settings. - Threshold-crossing history: Records the date, threshold, usage, and top 5 objects each time an org reaches or exceeds its threshold (duplicates are avoided while it stays above the same threshold), so you can review how quickly each org approaches its limit. Viewable per org on the Options page and exportable to Excel. - Header badge in Salesforce: Optionally displays Data / File / Big usage directly inside Salesforce pages for quick visibility. Show/hide it from the popup or Options. - Excel export: Exports storage results and threshold history in a readable Excel format. - Periodic monitoring: Supports scheduled monitoring for registered orgs, based on the last check time. - Options page: Manage saved orgs, monitoring settings, display language, the badge toggle, threshold history, and debug information from the Options page. ■Data & privacy This extension communicates only with your Salesforce org to retrieve storage information. No analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking is included. Retrieved data and settings are stored locally in chrome.storage for extension functionality and are not sent to external servers. ■Notes - OAuth is required for reliable storage retrieval. - Retrieving storage while you are fully logged out requires a Connected App with the "web" (or "full") OAuth scope. - Display language and the on-page badge can be configured in Options. - Debug information is available from Options when needed. ■Update - v1.3.196 　 1) Export now completes even if you close the popup: clicking "Export Storage (Excel)" finishes the download in the background, so the file is still saved if the popup closes before it's done. The Excel output format is unchanged. 　 2) Fixed the top 5 objects panel disappearing for some orgs (it could be cleared after an export); it now stays visible and refreshes reliably. 　 3) Added a configurable re-alert cooldown on the Options page: choose how often you are re-notified while an org stays above its threshold (default 6 hours). 　 4) The "on startup" monitoring interval now reliably runs a check when Chrome starts. 　 5) Faster storage retrieval when you are fully logged out. - v1.3.190: 　1) Fixed connecting a sandbox org: adding or authorizing a sandbox from a sandbox tab no longer fails with an authentication error.
