Does it work without internet? Yes. Every tool, including OCR, works fully offline once the extension is installed. Is the OCR really offline? Yes. PDFixel bundles a Tesseract engine that runs in your browser. No screenshots or scans are sent to an OCR API. English is supported. Which file formats are supported? PDF for documents.
