TimeTracker URL Reporter

Reports the active tab's URL and title to your local TimeTracker agent so browser work is attributed to the right client.

TimeTracker URL Reporter is a companion to the TimeTracker desktop agent used by professional-services firms. When you work in a browser — a client portal, QuickBooks Online, or a downloaded document — it tells the local TimeTracker agent which site or company is active, so your time is attributed to the correct client automatically instead of landing in a "pick a client" queue. What it reads: the URL and title of the active tab (query strings stripped), and — on QuickBooks Online only — the id and display name of the company you currently have open, so time is attributed to the right client when you switch between client companies. What it does NOT do: it never reads page contents on ordinary sites, and it never sends anything over the internet. Everything is posted only to the TimeTracker agent on your own computer (127.0.0.1). Without that local agent, the extension takes no action. Intended for managed deployment alongside the TimeTracker desktop agent.
