Overview

Fill a website's file upload from your phone. Scan a QR code, pick the file, done — nothing is saved to this computer's disk.

Qrap puts a file from your phone into a website's upload field. The file goes straight into the page. It is not downloaded to this computer. The usual way to get a photo or a scan off your phone and onto a website is to email it to yourself, or plug in a cable, and then hunt for it in your downloads folder. Qrap removes those steps. How it works 1. On a page with a file upload, click the Qrap button in the toolbar, or press Alt+Shift+U. 2. A bar appears: "Click the upload button you want to fill from your phone." Click the site's own upload control. The file dialog does not open. 3. A window shows a QR code. Scan it with your phone and approve the pairing. 4. Your phone shows what the page asked for — for example, "example.com is asking for a file (PDF)" — and opens your file picker filtered to those types. There is an "Any file" option if you want something else. 5. The file lands in the page's upload field. The window closes. Use it for - Photos and screenshots that are already on your phone. - Documents you photographed or scanned with your phone. - Uploads on a computer that isn't yours, where you would rather not leave a copy on the disk. Sites you use often Switch Qrap on for a site and a "📱 from phone" pill appears next to its upload controls, so you skip the first two steps. The options page lists the sites you have switched on and lets you remove them. Your file Content is encrypted on the device before it leaves it. The key travels only inside the QR code and never reaches the server, so the relay your phone and browser talk through cannot read what passes between them. A file is held only for the length of one pairing and is deleted when the pairing ends. There are no accounts. Nothing is tied to a name, an email address, or a profile. Nothing is sold, shared for advertising, or used to build a profile. No ads, no tracking pixels, no analytics SDK. The privacy policy sets out exactly what the service records and for how long. Chrome 111 or later. Chrome and Edge. Free.
