Overview

Privacy-first Pomodoro timer: customizable timers, sound alerts, and focus-session site blocking. 100% local, no tracking.

OpenTomato is a free, open-source Pomodoro focus timer for Chrome — no ads, no paywall, no accounts, and no tracking. Work in focused intervals with short and long breaks, and optionally block distracting websites while you focus. Set your own focus, short-break, and long-break lengths and how many focus sessions run before a long break — OpenTomato cycles through them automatically. Features • Fully customizable focus / short-break / long-break durations • Optional sound when a session ends, plus an optional heads-up warning before it does • Countdown on the toolbar icon so you can see time left at a glance • Site blocking that's active during focus sessions only — breaks are always unrestricted • Blacklist mode (block the sites you list) or whitelist mode (block everything except the sites you list) • Quick-add categories — Social Media, Entertainment, Shopping, Games, News, and more • Restrictive mode: lock your settings and site list for the whole session so you can't cave • Focus stats: see how long you've focused today, this week, this month, or all-time • Light, dark, and system themes Private by design Everything — your settings, timer state, site lists, and focus history — is stored locally in your browser and never leaves your device. There are no servers, no analytics, and no network requests of any kind. OpenTomato is free forever and will never show ads or charge money. Open source (MIT): https://github.com/cksarge/OpenTomato
