OpenRune
Overview
Shows runes, the custom text characters made with OpenRune, as their real marks on any web page, including inside text boxes.
OpenRune displays custom text characters—called runes—as their original shapes on supported web pages and inside supported text boxes. A rune carries its design inside ordinary text. Copy it, paste it and share it without uploading an image. With OpenRune you can: • See runes displayed in page text and supported editors. • Keep your chosen runes together in the extension popup, ready to copy. • Add a rune by pasting it into the popup. • Open Rune Maker to design your own characters. • Switch rune rendering on or off. Create your own at openrune.co/make using simple geometric shapes, then copy your design as a rune. Where OpenRune is not supported, people see the rune’s ordinary fallback character. Compatibility varies: some websites and services may remove or change the encoded text. Privacy Page text and editor content are processed in your browser and are not sent to OpenRune. Saved runes and the on/off setting use Chrome sync storage and may synchronise through Google, depending on your Chrome settings. OpenRune does not include advertising or analytics trackers.
