Meet OpenQuokka: a friendly pink companion for the page you are already on. Ask a question about the current webpage, get a useful summary, compare details, explain the fine print, rewrite a passage, or pull out the facts that matter. Quokka answers from the page text you share, without making you switch tabs. It only looks when you ask. It sleeps until you need it. - Click the extension to bring Quokka onto a webpage. - Submit a question to share the page's rendered text for an answer. - Only the mascot sits on the page. Tap it to open chat; all options live inside. - Hold the mascot for about 400ms, then drag it anywhere. Its position is saved per device. - Sleep is the only hide control. It leaves a small sleeping mascot; tap to wake. - Optionally turn on "Show Quokka on every site" (off by default). - See your monthly allowance and reset date in settings. Free to start: verified accounts get 10 free questions a month, no card required. Standard is £10/month, with AI usage included and a fair monthly allowance. Quokka pauses at the monthly allowance limit; there are no automatic extra usage charges. When you submit a question, the extension sends the question, up to 20,000 characters of rendered text from the current tab, its title and URL to https://openquokka.com. OpenQuokka passes this context to OpenAI to produce the answer. The companion backend stores account-linked usage and cost metadata, not the page text, questions or answers.
