OpenHeader — HTTP Header Editor
Overview
No ads, no tracking, open source. Modify request & response HTTP headers. A lightweight, safe alternative to ModHeader.
OpenHeader changes your HTTP header rules — and never reads or intercepts your traffic. It applies changes through Chrome's official declarativeNetRequest engine, which means the extension only *declares* header rules to Chrome. It cannot see, log, or transmit your requests, by design. • No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no account • Open source (MIT) — small enough to read in one sitting • Minimal permissions; your rules stay local (chrome.storage.local) Features: • Add / modify / remove request & response headers • Multiple profiles, switch header sets in one click • Per-URL filters • Import / export your settings • Master on/off toggle Built as a clean, safe alternative to ModHeader.
