Openfeed
Overview
A random photograph from Openfeed in every new tab.
Make every new tab a small window into someone else's photography. Openfeed replaces Chrome's new-tab page with a random landscape photograph from Openfeed, a curated ring of independent personal photo sites. Each photograph credits its creator and links back to the original page on the photographer's own site. Features: - A different landscape photograph in every new tab - Full-screen, edge-to-edge presentation - Photographer attribution and direct source links - A preloaded local queue for fast display - No accounts, ads, or browsing-history access The extension requests access only to openfeed.photo so it can retrieve the public photo manifest and optimized images and send anonymous usage measurement. Its small photo queue, recent selection state, random installation identifier, and heartbeat time remain in Chrome's local storage. Openfeed stores only a one-way hash of that identifier plus first/last activity and version. Openfeed is a curated community, not an algorithmic feed. Learn more at https://openfeed.photo/.
