Overview

Securely relay eligible signed-in Chrome tabs to the local OpenClaw browser automation service.

Connect OpenClaw to your signed-in Chrome. OpenClaw is a personal AI assistant you run on your own devices; this extension lets your agents browse with your existing tabs and logins while you control their access. BROWSER ACCESS YOU CONTROL • All tabs: share eligible ordinary tabs in this Chrome profile, except tabs you pause. • Selected tabs: share only tabs in the OpenClaw tab group. Move a tab out to revoke access. • Use Pause on this tab and Allow on this tab from the popup. • Incognito tabs, internal Chrome pages, and other Chrome profiles are not shared. • Chrome displays its standard debugging banner while browser automation is attached. SIMPLE SETUP Install OpenClaw on the same computer as Chrome, or connect an OpenClaw browser node. Follow the setup guide to register the native helper before enabling the extension. Compatible local setups pair automatically; Settings shows connection readiness and lets you disconnect or disable automatic setup. Advanced manual pairing supports remote Gateways. YOUR OPENCLAW, YOUR CONNECTION The extension relays browser commands and page data over an authenticated connection to your configured OpenClaw installation. It does not provide a separate hosted assistant. Your OpenClaw agent and model-provider settings determine how shared page data is used. Only connect trusted agents and share tabs you intend them to access. WHAT'S NEW IN 2.3.0 • Reliable new-tab creation, including clients that start with a temporary blank page. • More reliable navigation, reconnection, and shared-tab handling across browser clients. • Improved tab-access lifecycle handling and automatic wake-up for supported local relays. • Existing pairing and tab-access preferences are preserved on upgrade. REQUIREMENTS Chrome 125 or newer and a compatible OpenClaw installation. Automatic native setup is supported on macOS and Linux; Windows uses manual pairing.
