OpenClaw Browser Relay
Overview
Relay Chrome tabs to a local OpenClaw gateway on localhost. Set port and gateway token in Options.
OpenClaw Browser Relay is a companion Chrome extension for users who run OpenClaw Gateway (or LumaClaw desktop) on their own computer. WHAT IT DOES • Relays Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP) from tabs you explicitly attach to a local relay server on 127.0.0.1 • Works with the standard OpenClaw browser relay protocol (WebSocket path /extension) • Lets local AI agents automate the browser session you are already logged into (e.g. Slack, Feishu, internal tools) HOW TO USE 1. Start OpenClaw Gateway with browser relay enabled on the same machine as Chrome 2. Open extension Options and set Relay port (default 18792) and Gateway token (same as gateway.auth.token) 3. Click the toolbar icon on a tab to attach; click again to detach 4. Use OpenClaw / LumaClaw browser tools against that attached tab PRIVACY & SECURITY • Connects only to http://127.0.0.1 and http://localhost — not to the public internet • Gateway token is stored locally in chrome.storage.local on your device • No tab is attached until you click the toolbar button • Does not collect analytics or sell user data REQUIREMENTS • OpenClaw Gateway (or compatible local stack) must be running on this computer • See setup: https://docs.openclaw.ai/tools/chrome-extension Product website: https://www.lumaclaw.cn/
