OpenChat puts a full AI chat in your browser's side panel. The same OpenChat you use at openchat.ongage.com, with your same account, history, and plan. WHAT IT DOES • Chat with leading AI models (Claude, GPT, Gemini, and more) from any tab • Ask about the page you're reading — one click sends its content to the chat • Select text on any site for instant actions from a small toolbar • Assistant buttons where you already work: reply in Gmail, LinkedIn and X, summarize any YouTube video • Chat with PDFs: attach files, extraction happens locally in your browser • Live web search with cited sources (Pro) • Compare 2–4 models side by side on one prompt (Pro) • Full chat history, synced with the web app HOW SIGN-IN WORKS The extension uses your OpenChat account. Signing in opens openchat.ongage.com, which securely connects your session to the extension. No separate password, nothing typed into the extension itself. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO The extension does no background reading of your tabs, no browsing-history collection, no ads and no trackers: it contains no analytics, telemetry or advertising code and sets no cookies. Page content is only read when you explicitly ask the chat to use it.
