Open Tab Snapshot
Overview
Capture all open tabs in the current window into reusable snapshots you can reopen later.
Open Tab Snapshot is a lightweight Chrome extension that lets users capture all currently open tabs from the active browser window into a saved snapshot list, so the entire set can be reopened later when needed. It is designed for people who regularly work across many tabs and want a simple way to preserve a browsing session without relying on bookmarks or manually reopening pages one by one. The extension provides a focused popup interface where users can give each snapshot a title, save the current set of open tabs, review previously saved snapshots, and restore a full snapshot into a new window with a single action. Each saved entry includes a timestamp, a tab count, and a short preview of the captured pages, making it easier to recognize and manage different browsing sessions over time. Open Tab Snapshot is built to stay minimal and privacy-friendly. It does not use user accounts, remote servers, analytics, advertising, or background tracking. Saved snapshot data is stored locally in Chrome so users can keep their tab lists available across browser sessions. The extension uses only the permissions needed to read current tabs and save snapshot data locally. Its only purpose is to help users preserve and reopen complete tab sessions in a simple and efficient way.
