Open SideBar for Copilot: an AI chat panel right next to the page you're reading Keep the AI assistant open beside your work. The extension loads the Copilot web app in Chrome's side panel, so you can ask questions, draft text or talk through an article without switching tabs. If you'd rather have a separate window, pick popup mode in the settings; the window reopens at the size and position you left it. FEATURES • Open the panel from the toolbar button or with Alt+Shift+O • Switch to a popup window that remembers its size and position • Sign in with a Microsoft, Google or Apple account from the panel: sign-in opens in a tab, the tab closes on its own when you're done, and the panel reloads with your account • Right-click any page and pick "Summarize this page for me" • The right-click menu and the copied request follow your browser's language (55 languages) SUMMARIZING A PAGE 1. Right-click an empty spot on the page. 2. Choose "Summarize this page for me". 3. A popup window opens and the request is copied to your clipboard. 4. Click the message box, press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V on a Mac) and send. PRIVACY Only the extension's own settings (side panel or popup, window size) are stored in Chrome. No browsing data is collected, sold or shared. Your conversations happen on Copilot's own website, under Microsoft's terms.
