FocusFlow rebuilds any web page around how you actually read. Swap in a typeface your eyes can decode, open up the spacing, put a guide under the line you're on, strip the page back to the words, have it read aloud, or ask for a plain-language summary — without leaving the page you're on. Built for readers with dyslexia, ADHD, low vision or visual stress, and for anyone who reads a lot on screen. NEW IN 2.13.0 • A fresh look across the popup, side panel and dashboard, in six themes that follow your device's light or dark mode until you choose one. • A dashboard that shows how you read: words read, time saved, your streak and the aids you use — counted on your device. • A Sites page to review, edit or delete each site's own settings, and to turn FocusFlow off on sites where you don't want it. • Reader Mode: a Read aloud button in the top bar, and an AI tools button with every tool in one place (Pro). • Reader Mode Insights: a free readability score and complex-word highlighting. TYPOGRAPHY THAT FITS YOUR EYES • Eight accessible typefaces, including the dyslexia-friendly OpenDyslexic. All bundled with the extension, so nothing is fetched from a font server. • Control letter spacing, word spacing, line height, font size, weight and alignment. • Font-only mode applies the typeface and leaves the site's layout alone — or switch Font changes off to keep the site's own typography while every other aid stays on. • Bionic Reading bolds the leading part of each word to give your eye a fixation point. • Syllable segmentation (Pro) breaks long words into their parts, by dots or alternating colour. KEEP YOUR PLACE • A reading ruler that tracks the line under your cursor. • A focus line that dims everything outside a narrow reading window. • Paragraph spotlight (Pro) dims the page except the paragraph you are on. • Colour overlays for visual stress, plus contrast and saturation controls, a big cursor, link highlighting and reduce motion. • Auto-scroll pace reader (Pro) keeps the page moving at your speed. • Page Dark Mode (Pro): dark backgrounds on the pages you visit, or follow your device with System. READER MODE • Turn an article into a clean reading view — no ads, banners, sidebars or cookie walls. • A clickable heading outline, a Read aloud button in the top bar, and Save to your Reading List. • Insights: progress through the section, word and sentence counts, reading time, and a readability score from six standard formulas, with a switch that highlights complex words in the article. Free, and worked out on your device. • Save as HTML, or Save as PDF (Pro) — the PDF keeps your font, spacing, theme, reading aids, images and formatting. • AI tools (Pro), from one button in the top bar: Summarize section, Key points, Simplify this section, Words to know, Define with In this sentence, and Check my understanding. Results open in a panel beside the article, with Copy, Listen and Regenerate. READ ALOUD • Text-to-speech on any page using your browser's own voices, with voice, language and speed controls. Nothing you read is sent anywhere to be spoken. • Immersion reading (Pro) adds a floating player, word and sentence highlighting, and auto-scroll that follows the voice. AI READING TOOLS (PRO) • Summarize — the gist of the page, or of the section you're reading in Reader Mode. • Key points — a summary as a short list. • Simplify — a dense passage in plainer words. • Define — a word or phrase explained, then In this sentence for the meaning where you found it. • Words to know — hard words explained before you read. • Check my understanding — a few questions on what you read, each with the passage that answers it. • Listen — have any AI answer read aloud. • Available from Reader Mode, the toolbar popup, the side panel and the right-click menu. FITS HOW YOU WORK • Per-site settings — FocusFlow can be on everywhere, only where you want it, or tuned site by site. Review, edit or delete them on the dashboard's Sites page, and turn FocusFlow off on any site. • Profiles — save a set of typography settings and switch between them. Three custom profiles free, unlimited on Pro. • Reading List (free) and To-Do list (Pro), in the side panel and the dashboard. • A dashboard with your reading statistics, AI credit balance, account, licence and help in one place. • Keyboard shortcuts: Alt+Shift+D opens the popup, Alt+Shift+F turns FocusFlow off or on for the site, Alt+Shift+Up / Down change the size. • Six themes and colour palettes, in 52 languages including Arabic, Hebrew and Persian (right to left). FocusFlow does not collect your browsing history, does not track you across sites, and uses no cookies, ads or analytics. Your reading statistics and feature usage are counted on your device. Data leaves your browser only when you do something that needs it: • AI tools (Pro) — the text you selected, or the page or the Reader Mode section you are reading when you ask for a summary or a quiz, is sent to our server, which passes it to a language-model provider. Define sends the text you select, and its sentence only if you choose In this sentence. Quiz answers are never sent. • Licence activation (Pro) — your licence key, to our payment provider. • Pro status (Pro) — your licence key, when you open the dashboard, to show your AI credit balance and subscription. • Settings sync (Pro, opt-in, off by default) — your settings, per-site rules, the sites you excluded, Reading List, to-dos and reading statistics, stored in your FocusFlow account. • Feedback form — what you type, with your extension version and browser.
