Open Draw

Draw over any web page while you teach or present.

Open Draw turns any web page into a whiteboard. Click the toolbar button and annotate the page right where it is, with no screenshots and no switching apps. MADE FOR TEACHING AND PRESENTING • Pen and highlighter for freehand marks • Arrows: straight, double-ended, curved and elbow, with open or filled heads • Shapes: rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipse, triangle, diamond and line, with solid, dashed or dotted outlines and optional fill. Hold Shift for a perfect square or circle. • Text notes anywhere on the page, in four sizes • A laser pointer that fades by itself, and a spotlight that dims everything except where you point • Eraser, undo, redo and clear STAYS OUT OF THE WAY • One compact toolbar that docks to any edge of the screen • Keyboard shortcuts for every tool: P pen, H highlighter, A arrow, R shapes, T text, E eraser, L laser, S spotlight • Press Esc to go back to the page, and click Resume to carry on drawing • The page keeps scrolling while you draw YOUR NOTES ARE KEPT • Annotations are saved in your browser, page by page, and are there when you come back • Export the visible page and your annotations as a PNG image • Download your annotations as a file, and import them again later PRIVATE BY DESIGN Open Draw runs only on the tab where you click it. It collects no data, sends nothing anywhere and makes no network requests. Everything stays on your device. Open Draw works on ordinary web pages. Browsers don't allow extensions on their own pages (settings, new-tab pages, the extension stores), and Open Draw isn't designed for PDF files.
