Open Browser Operator (OBO) is an open-source bridge that lets AI agents use your own Chrome browser through a local API. Instead of running automation in a separate cloud browser or isolated profile, OBO connects agents to the browser you already use. This makes it useful for working with your signed-in SaaS dashboards, email tools, social platforms, internal apps, and other web products that depend on your real browser environment. OBO is designed to stay simple for everyday users: - Install the extension - Run the local OBO server with npx @agenthand/obo - Let your preferred AI agent or script control browser actions through the local API Agents can open and activate tabs, navigate pages, click, type, scroll, take screenshots, read page snapshots, extract content, upload files, and organize controlled tabs into groups. OBO does not provide a hosted cloud browser, proxy, or analytics service. Browser content is handled through your local machine and returned only to the local tool or agent you choose to run.
