Overview
Make every bookmark open in a new tab — with just a left-click.
This extension ensures that your bookmarks always open in a new tab, so your current page stays untouched. ⚡ Stay focused and organized — clicking a bookmark will never overwrite the page you're viewing. 🚀 No setup needed. Install and enjoy an improved bookmarking experience instantly. 💤 Runs silently in the background without affecting browser performance. ✅ Supports bookmarks from the bookmarks bar, folders, and the bookmarks manager — preserving your current tab every time. ℹ️ Known Limitations Some special URLs, such as extension pages or internal browser links, may not open in a new tab due to technical limitations. They will open in the current tab instead. However, you can still open them in a new tab by using CTRL + CLICK. 🔧 Technical details Learn how the extension works behind the scenes: https://dev.to/vitalets/open-bookmarks-in-a-new-tab-by-default-easier-said-than-done-a3n 🗑️ Uninstall Instructions If you’ve decided to uninstall the extension: 1.
