It fills matching fields with your saved answers and remembers site-specific details, including the extra questions ordinary autofill misses. Always free. No daily limit. No account or cloud sync. REMEMBER MORE THAN YOUR ADDRESS Save your usual names, email, address, phone and other frequently used details. Open Autofill can also remember extra questions, dropdown selections and checkbox choices on individual forms. Use “Remember this page” to save the answers currently on a form for your next visit. Checked and unchecked choices both matter, and clearing a field can tell Open Autofill to leave it blank next time. CHANGE ONE FORM WITHOUT CHANGING YOUR DEFAULTS Need a different answer on a particular form? Edit it normally. With Auto-learn on, Open Autofill remembers that correction for that exact site and form. Your usual answers stay unchanged everywhere else. Page edits, submitting a form and “Remember this page” never rewrite your defaults. KEEP YOUR ANSWERS IN YOUR CHROME PROFILE Your saved answers stay locally in this Chrome profile. The extension does not upload them, use cloud services or collect analytics. Export a JSON backup to your computer when you need one. Restoring a backup previews what will be replaced and requires your confirmation. Backups contain readable personal data, so store them somewhere private. LEAVE SENSITIVE FIELDS ALONE Open Autofill does not fill passwords, payment card details, CVV, Social Security numbers or one-time codes. It does not solve CAPTCHAs or submit forms automatically. Search boxes are skipped by default. Automatic filling preserves values you have already entered and nonempty page defaults. You can also ignore sites where you do not want Open Autofill to run. GET STARTED 1. Install Open Autofill and pin it to your toolbar. 2. Enable form memory and enter “Your usual answers.” 3. Open a form. Matching fields fill automatically. 4. Correct an answer or use “Remember this page” to save details for that form. A note about privacy: local storage does not hide filled values from a website. Website scripts can read those values before you submit. Some custom controls and forms may not fill. If a site changes its questions or form structure, you may need to save an answer again.
