Authenticator is a local-first Chrome two-factor authentication extension that helps you manage the CAPTCHAs required for website logins more easily. You can add an account in the following ways: - Scan the QR code on this webpage - Upload QR code image - Enter authentication key manually - Import exported files from other authenticators After adding an account, open the extension to view the current verification code and copy it to your clipboard with one click. The extension supports TOTP and HOTP verification codes, 6-digit or 8-digit verification codes, common hash algorithms, account search, favorites, groups, notes, and editing management. All account data is stored locally in your browser and protected by a master password. Vault uses encrypted storage, requiring no account registration or cloud synchronization. You can also set up automatic locking, locking when the browser is closed, and export encrypted backups to restore your account when switching devices. It works on GitHub, Google, Microsoft, social media platforms, developer tools, and other websites that support two-factor authentication.
