Echobraker
Overview
Community Notes for Reddit. Context notes on posts and comments, shown when people who disagree rate them helpful.
Community Notes for Reddit. Echobraker adds short, sourced context notes under posts and comments on reddit.com that make a checkable factual claim. A note appears only when contributors who usually disagree with each other both rate it helpful. Scoring follows the open bridging algorithm published for X's Community Notes. Private by design • Reading notes sends nothing about your browsing. The extension downloads the public notes list and matches it on your device. • No ads, no analytics, and no tracking. • Contributor mode is off until you opt in. It has its own consent screen. Returning contributors can sign in with a passkey. An email code is always available instead. Fair by design • Notes need public sources and address claims, not people. • Moderators can remove a note that breaks the rules. They cannot write, rate, edit, or promote notes. • When a post or comment is removed or deleted, its note disappears. Echobraker never posts, votes, comments, or sends any request to Reddit, and it stores no Reddit content. Available only in the United States and US territories. Contributors must be 18 or older. Contributor sign-up is open at launch. Independent project. Not affiliated with Reddit, Inc. or X Corp.
