Use AI to correct, rewrite, or transform selected text in Chrome.

Plyph is an AI text assistant for Chrome that works directly with selected text on web pages. Correct writing, rewrite text, summarize content, translate text, explain selected content, or run your own custom AI actions without repeatedly copying and pasting text between websites and AI tools. Select text on a web page, choose an action, review the generated result if desired, and replace the original text directly on the page. Privacy Plyph does not include telemetry. Text is sent to your configured AI service only when you explicitly run an action. Provider credentials and settings are stored locally in Chrome extension storage. API keys can optionally be protected with password-based encryption. History is disabled by default. If enabled, previous inputs and generated results are stored locally in the extension. When using a compatible local AI server, processing can remain on your own device. Plyph does not operate on Chrome internal pages or the Chrome Web Store because Chrome does not allow extensions to inject scripts into those pages.
