RightCX Telephony Collector
Overview
Detects softphone calls in the browser and hands the caller's number and name to the RightCX desktop app.
RightCX Telephony Collector works with the RightCX desktop app to bring caller details to agents the moment a call starts. When a call begins in your browser-based softphone, the extension reads the caller's phone number and name from the page and sends them to the RightCX desktop app running on your computer. The app then looks the caller up in your company's systems, so the agent sees who is calling without typing anything. How it works - Runs only on the softphone websites you choose. It never reads other sites. - Talks only to the RightCX desktop app on your own computer. It holds no passwords or account keys. - Notices when the call ends (hang-up, closed tab, or leaving the page) and tells the app. Requirements - A RightCX account and the RightCX desktop app installed and signed in. - A browser-based softphone. Setup 1. Install the extension and open its options page. 2. Add your softphone's website and allow access when Chrome asks. 3. Click Connect and approve the request in the RightCX desktop app.
