AI chat side panel that answers questions about the current page via an OntoBase-compatible SSE service.

ontobase is an AI chat panel that lives in Chrome's side panel and answers questions about the page you are currently reading. Click the toolbar icon to open the panel and type your question. When you send it, ontobase captures minimal page context - the page URL, title and any text you have explicitly selected - and sends it with your question to the OntoBase service of the environment you are browsing, streaming the answer back into the panel. Reasoning steps, tool calls and token usage are shown alongside the answer. When an answer contains a structured result (a UI model, a viewMeta or a card render hint), ontobase opens an in-page overlay and renders it as an interactive card page instead of handing you raw JSON. ontobase picks the right chat agent automatically from the page you are on: the list of supported pages is delivered by a server-side registry, so new business domains work without updating the extension. On pages outside that list (such as browser internal pages) the panel says so explicitly instead of starting a conversation that cannot succeed. The backend environment (production / pre-release / daily) is likewise derived from the current page, so the panel never talks to a different environment than the one you are browsing. There are only two settings, entered on the options page: a fallback employee work number (used when the signed-in page exposes none), and a requirement id for non-production environments (where ontologies are isolated per requirement; not needed on production). Chat history stays on this device (chrome.storage.local); settings follow Chrome sync (chrome.storage.sync). No passwords or tokens are stored.
