OnTime — Flight Reliability for Google Flights
Overview
See real on-time and cancellation rates for every flight on Google Flights, powered by official US DOT data.
Stop guessing whether your flight will actually arrive on time. OnTime overlays real reliability data directly onto Google Flights search results, so you can compare airlines and routes at a glance. Each flight result shows: • On-time arrival percentage (within 15 minutes of schedule) • Cancellation rate • Color-coded reliability rating (Reliable / Average / Below Average / Poor) • Route-specific stats when available, otherwise airline-wide averages All data comes from the US Department of Transportation Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS), the same source used by news outlets and analysts. Statistics are based on a rolling 12-month average covering over 6 million real flights. WHAT'S DIFFERENT Most flight reliability tools require you to leave the booking flow, look up an airline, and mentally translate the stats. OnTime puts the data exactly where the decision is being made, on the flight result itself. PRIVACY OnTime does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The extension fetches a single public statistics file and runs entirely in your browser. No accounts, no tracking, no analytics. DATA UPDATES Statistics are refreshed monthly as the US DOT publishes new data. LIMITATIONS Currently covers US domestic flights only (the BTS dataset is limited to US carriers and routes). International routes will not show statistics.
