Ontel Photo Integrity Check

Checks downloaded photos for declared AI generation or editing, and for repeated measurement photos. Runs locally; uploads nothing.

Ontel Photo Integrity Check reviews field photo submissions as they are downloaded, so a COP reviewer knows before opening a single photo whether any of them say they were made or changed by AI, and whether the same measurement photo was submitted twice. What it checks Declared AI generation or editing. It reads what each photo says about itself: the IPTC digital source type, C2PA content credentials, and the EXIF and XMP fields that AI tools write (for example Photoshop Generative Fill, Samsung Generative Edit, Firefly, ComfyUI). It does not guess from how a photo looks. A photo is flagged only when its own metadata declares AI involvement, and the card shows the exact field and value behind every finding. Repeated measurement photos. Serial number, MDT, plumb, rad center, tip height, AAT mounted and AAT screen photos are compared byte for byte. The same photo submitted for two sectors is caught, with its CRC so it can be confirmed in 7-Zip. How it works Download a zip of photos, or single photos, as usual. A card appears in the corner of the page showing progress and then the result: HOLD for declared AI generation, a warning for AI editing or repeated photos, or OK. Photos whose metadata has been removed are counted separately and never reported as clean. The toolbar icon opens a log of recent checks with every finding. A download that could not be read can be checked by hand from the same popup: pick the file from the folder it was moved to. Privacy Everything happens on your computer. No photo, file name or result is uploaded anywhere, and there is no analytics or tracking. Setup After installing, open chrome://extensions, click Details on this extension, and turn on "Allow access to file URLs" so downloaded files can be read. Turn on "Allow in Incognito" too if you download from Incognito windows.
