onscanner Macro Recorder

Record a login flow into an onscanner authenticated-scan macro. Passwords and 2FA codes are never captured.

The OnScanner Macro Recorder captures a login flow (username, password, 2FA, SSO click-throughs, and multi-step logins) as a portable macro you paste into OnScanner's authenticated scanning. OnScanner then replays the login in a headless browser on every scan, monitor, and schedule, so it can test the pages behind your login. Secrets are never recorded. The recorder substitutes placeholders: - password fields become {{password}} - one-time-code and 2FA fields become {{totp}} - likely username fields become {{username}} You enter the real values in OnScanner, where they are encrypted at rest and injected only at replay time. They are never written into the exported macro. How to use it: 1. Open the extension and click Start recording. 2. Log in normally, including any 2FA or SSO steps. 3. Click Stop, then Copy JSON. 4. In OnScanner, open a target, choose Scan login, then Recorded macro, and Load steps from the pasted export. Privacy: no account, no network calls, no analytics. The extension only uses local storage and the active tab to observe the login you record. It transmits no data off your device; the recorded macro stays in your browser until you copy it yourself.
