Onmindo
Overview
Email tracking that names who opened, templates, sequences and AI follow-ups for Gmail. Sends from your own account.
Onmindo adds email tracking, templates, signatures, scheduled sends, multi-step sequences, and AI-written follow-ups to Gmail. Every message goes out through your own Gmail account, and Onmindo asks Google for the least permission each feature needs: connecting Gmail requests send and your address, nothing that can read mail. Features that read a thread ask separately, when you turn them on. WHAT IT DOES - An indicator on inbox rows showing the open count for messages you tracked, with a hover card that names who opened, when, and in what, the second it happens. - Send a separate copy to each recipient from the compose window: one pixel per person, threaded into one conversation in your Sent folder, so every open has a name. One email to three people can only ever say "one of three", and Onmindo says exactly that. - Open and click tracking with a live activity feed in Gmail's sidebar. - Templates with {{first_name}}-style variables. - Signatures, picked per compose window, appended when the message goes out. - Send later, fired by the server, so your browser can be closed. - Sequences: an ordered set of steps sent to one recipient over days, each on the same thread. The rest stop the moment they actually reply, and an out of office does not count as a reply. - AI follow-ups: Claude writes the follow-up in your voice and saves it to your Gmail drafts. - A deliverability check on the draft before you send. - A per-thread sidebar: what was sent, what was opened, what is queued. - A web dashboard for everything a sidebar cannot show. WHAT AN OPEN MEANS Gmail fetches your tracking pixel once at delivery, before anyone has looked, and once more for each reader. Onmindo recognises the delivery fetch by its signature and records it as delivered, never as an open. Apple Mail loads mail on its own schedule, so an open from there is counted once and says so. Every open names the client that drew the message (Gmail, Apple Mail, Outlook, or the browser). For a Gmail reader there is no device and no city, because Google's proxy fetched the pixel, not their phone. WHAT YOU NEED A free Onmindo account: sign up at https://app.onmindo.com, then install this extension and connect it from the dashboard with one click (or paste your API token on the extension's options page). Tracking works from the first send. Connect Gmail to turn on send later, sequences and one-copy-each. The AI features need an Anthropic API key in Settings; everything else works without one. PRIVACY No analytics, no crash reporting, no telemetry. The extension talks to the Onmindo server and to nothing else. No message bodies are stored, except a scheduled send until it goes out. No IP addresses are kept. InboxSDK, the library used to work with Gmail's DOM, has its telemetry turned off at the source and blocked at the network layer as a second line.
