Per Dose - Supplement Price per mg, IU or Gram

Shows what a supplement costs per mg, IU or gram of active ingredient, so a stronger bottle stops looking like the worse buy.

Two vitamin D bottles, same brand, same search page. Amazon prints $0.06/count under the 5,000 IU one and $0.08/count under the 10,000 IU one, so the weaker bottle looks like the better deal. Per unit of actual vitamin D it is the other way round, and the stronger bottle is a third cheaper. Per Dose puts that number under every price: what the product costs per milligram, per IU or per gram of the ingredient you are buying it for. The cheapest on the page gets a green tick. Anything at least half again as expensive per unit gets flagged in red. Every other unit-price tool divides by weight or by count. For supplements both are the wrong denominator: weight counts the filler, and count says a 5,000 IU softgel and a 10,000 IU softgel are the same thing. Prices are read in whatever currency the page uses, and both number formats are handled, so 1.234,56 and 1,234.56 are never confused. WHAT IT READS - Doses marked on the label: "5000mg Per Serving", "5g per scoop", "25g of Protein", "125 mcg Cholecalciferol" - Serving counts: "240 Softgels", "100 Servings", "60 Count", "90 Capsules" - Package weight, when it is the only way to get a serving count - Struck-out original prices are ignored, and so is the screen-reader copy of the price that some stores print beside the visible one WHEN IT STAYS QUIET A wrong dose is off by a factor of a hundred, so a number is only treated as a dose when the listing says it is one. Most listings do not, and those get no badge: - "Whey Protein Concentrate 5LBS" states a weight, which says nothing about how much protein is in it - "3 Pack ... 270 Softgels" gives no way to tell whether 270 is per bottle or across all three - Two different doses in one listing leave nothing to compare On a live supplement search roughly seven titles in ten carry enough to compute. The other three are the ones that would have been wrong. PRIVACY There is no account, no sign-up, no API key and no AI. The extension never makes a network request on its own. Nothing is collected, nothing is transmitted, and no data leaves your computer. All it stores is whether you switched the badges on or off. If a badge looks wrong you can press the report button in the popup. It builds a note from what the page already showed you, copies it to your clipboard, and opens a pre-filled form so you can read it and decide whether to send it.
