Drag and drop, paste, or select images to compress them to JPEG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF with smart presets for quality and size. All processing happens locally via WebAssembly — your images never leave your device. Batch compress multiple files, pick a target format (or Auto), preview sizes and savings, and download single files or everything at once. Images are decoded to an in‑memory bitmap, encoded according to your preset and format, and written back to a downloadable file — all within your browser. - Privacy & Permissions - Data collection: none. Images never leave your device and are not sent to any server. - Permissions requested: - storage: used to remember your preferences (e.g., last preset/format). - site access (google.com): a lightweight content script is included by default and does not read or modify page content; it performs no data collection. You can remove site access in Chrome’s extension settings.
