One-Click Muted Words for X

Add selected text on X or X Pro to muted words, with notification audience and X Pro confirmation settings.

Select a word or phrase on X, right-click, and add it to X muted words. Features: - Adds selected text on x.com through X's normal settings page in a background tab. - Configures matching notifications from people you do not follow or from anyone. - On X Pro, asks you to confirm the active account by default, with an explicit option to skip future confirmation. - Updates one branded toast from progress to completion on the source page, with a shortcut to X’s muted-word settings after success. - On X Pro, keeps the source-page status updated and opens the review page after the form is ready. - Opens the X muted-words list or extension settings from the toolbar icon. - Enabled immediately after installation; settings save automatically and can be disabled at any time. - Requires one reload for X or X Pro tabs that were already open when the extension was installed. - Preserves exact multilingual text, emoji, hashtags, and phrases without silent normalization or truncation. - Localizes the interface and X notification-audience labels for 10 major languages, following the browser language automatically. - Stops safely and leaves the filled X page open if X changes or the result cannot be confirmed. Privacy-focused: - Processes only text you explicitly select and invoke from the context menu. - Selected text expires after two minutes in browser session storage; expired text is never processed and is deleted before the next operation. - No developer server, analytics, ads, or tracking. - No access to cookies, authentication data, or browsing history. - No X internal API or remotely hosted code. This unofficial extension is not affiliated with or endorsed by X Corp. X muted words apply to Home and notifications; content can still appear in search. X's “From anyone” / “From people you don’t follow” choice applies only to Notifications. It does not change how the word is muted in Home.
