Overview

Double-click an HTML file in Google Drive to render a preview automatically, without manually launching the extension.

Double-click an HTML file in Google Drive™ to render a preview automatically, without manually launching the extension. No extension icon clicks or other extra launch steps are required. • Preview HTML and HTM files within the Drive page. • Switch between the rendered preview and the original source. • Reload source from the current Drive viewer. • Close the preview with the ✕ button and return to the original folder. • Japanese and English interface. No additional Google sign-in, OAuth, Google Drive API, or backend is used. HTML is rendered locally inside an isolated frame, with scripts from the HTML disabled. There is no developer analytics, telemetry, or collection of file contents. HTML that references external HTTPS stylesheets, images, fonts, or media causes your browser to request those resources from their providers. The extension relies on HTML source that can be read from the Drive viewer. Some Drive layouts or incomplete source loading may prevent previews. Relative references to sibling files in Drive and pages requiring JavaScript are not supported. Google Drive is a trademark of Google LLC. This extension is not provided or endorsed by Google.
