Omni Bar is one small toolbar extension that makes the web cleaner, more private, and more yours. It blocks ads and trackers on every site, adds Privacy Shield, and upgrades YouTube. More sites are planned. 🛡️ AD BLOCKER FOR EVERY SITE • Blocks ads and trackers with the trusted EasyList and EasyPrivacy filter lists • All filtering happens on your device • Hides leftover empty ad spaces • "Pause on this site" in one click if a page acts up (pauses Privacy Shield there too) • Optional blocked count on the toolbar icon ▶️ YOUTUBE VIDEO AD REMOVAL • Removes ads from YouTube videos before they play • If an ad still starts, Omni Bar mutes and skips it almost instantly, then restores your playback speed 🔒 PRIVACY SHIELD (NEW) Stops the hidden tracking websites and emails quietly do. Each protection has its own on/off switch: • Tracking pixels: blocks invisible images that report when you open an email or visit a page • Visitor-ID blocking: stops tools that try to match you to your name or email (like RB2B, Retention.com, Clearbit, 6sense, ZoomInfo) • Session recorders and crypto-miners: blocks scripts that record your mouse and typing (Hotjar, FullStory, Clarity and more), plus miners and known scam sites • Link cleaning: strips utm_, fbclid, gclid and other tracking tags, including from links you copy • Redirect unwrapping: skips Google, Facebook and similar tracking redirect pages, and AMP links • Do Not Sell or Share: sends Global Privacy Control (GPC) and Do Not Track to every site • Anti-fingerprinting: adds noise to canvas, WebGL and audio readings and reports generic hardware info, so sites can't recognize you without cookies • Referrer trimming: sites only learn which website you came from, not the exact page • Ping blocking: stops pages from quietly pinging other companies when you click or leave • Cookie banners: clicks "Reject all" for you, and never clicks "Accept" • WebRTC leak protection: stops sites from reading your private network address • HTTPS upgrade (optional, off by default): opens the secure version of sites • Strict mode (optional, off by default): hides what you type in forms from outside scripts until you submit, and blocks more hidden tracking. It can break some sites. • Show info: a plain-English guide to everything Privacy Shield does, with three everyday examples, a switch for each feature, and your list of paused sites • Privacy Shield stays off on sign-in, captcha and payment pages so they keep working Honest limits: no extension can hide your IP address from sites. Only a VPN does that.
