Overview

Count the YouTube videos and Shorts you watch each day. Daily counts, a 7-day chart, and full history, stored privately on-device.

Ever wonder how much YouTube you actually watch? Watch Tracker for YouTube counts every video and Short you navigate to and shows you a clean daily breakdown — right in your toolbar. What you get: - Today's video and Shorts count, always visible at a glance - A 7-day bar chart showing videos vs. Shorts side by side - A timestamped list of everything you watched today, each one clickable back to YouTube - A one-click toggle to pause and resume tracking anytime - A clear all button to wipe your history whenever you want Private by design: Your watch history is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage — no accounts, no analytics, and nothing sent to the developer. The only network requests go to YouTube itself, to fetch video titles and thumbnails. Lightweight: A small content script plus a minimal background worker, and no external libraries. It won't slow down your browser. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
